South Carolina

On my travel to South Carolina, I went with a group of friends so that added to the excitement of traveling to another fun spot. I found the views to be extraordinary and there was a surplus of things to do.

Starting the trip off, we flew to South Carolina, waking up at 4 to get to the airport on time. Once we arrived we drove to our vacation spot, Hilton Head, South Carolina. The friend's parents rented a house for the week. It was half a block away from the beach. It had a pool and was very big. I roomed with my best friend, Erin, and my sister roomed with Erin's sister, Coleen. Once we settled, we rented some bikes that we then rode around the streets of Hilton Head, taking in the scenery and beauty.

As seen above, the sights in Hilton Head were truly extraordinary. Many nights we would walk the beach and watch people fishing, running, walking dogs, and making sandcastles. We even met some cute boys! But despite all the fun things to do on the beach, there were many things to do off the sand. There were many shops and restaurants to visit. In my experience, we would switch off from going to the beach and shops and that seemed to expand the experience. One day, my friend's mom rented a banana boat for us to ride and then bought a time slot for us to go parasailing.

I highly recommend parasailing. I am not very fond of heights but I truly loved this. The views were incredible. You could see the city for miles ahead and below you could see some ocean life swimming.

Another thing we did was go into the city and shop. There were many clothes and antique shops to discover. We went up in the lighthouse seen below and look across the vast Earth. That was another highly recommended experience that I suggest. Throughout the shops, there were multiple opportunities to buy clothes, hats, and souvenirs to remember your stay in Hilton Head.

Overall my trip to South Carolina was a once in a lifetime experience. Through all the exciting things to do to the people I went with, it became a favorite vacation spot. The view was impeccable and even the walk to the beach was breathtaking. I couldn't imagine not going here as it brought so many fond memories that I will have for a lifetime. As you can see below, we never got tired of the beach views and the warm weather. I thoroughly enjoyed my time down in South Carolina and highly recommend visiting.
